Kinect - the new family board game

i’m pretty impressed with how we spent the later half of christmas as a family together - all generations (and a dog) crowded around together…usually the kids are in one room, men in another, women in yet another…but tonight, everyone gathered together. why?…well, to watch multiple generations of family members battle it out on the kinect dance floor to lady gaga. 

there’s often a lot of “bah. humbug”-ing about technology and how its making us more removed - kids stuck in handheld games, teens texting at the dinner table, parents on their blackberries all the time - but tonight, i was watched how some of the most advanced gaming technology brought a big and multi-generational family together.
